Either they have been in her class, seen her in a show, or been to one of her art exhibitions.
When she delivered her donation for this year's auction, "Soft Focus," Ms. Stocker told us that she has spent a lot of time teaching watercolor techniques to art teachers around the state.
She noted that they are much more comfortable working in other media, but that watercolors are generally available, not so hard to work with and can produce good effects.
Like magician Marshall Brodein said in his many commercials, "Magic is easy, when you know the secret."
