We are pleased to announce that, in addition to donating an electric grill to our Java & Jazz benefit auction, The Energy Cooperative has agreed to co-sponsor the event.
Confirmation came earlier this afternoon and Paddy Kutz, Mental Health America's Executive Director, couldn't be happier.
"We are so blessed to have so many supporters in the business community who see value in what we are doing and who continue to support us. The Energy Cooperative has been a generous supporter of MHA through the years."

Do You Say "Care-A-Mel" or "Khar-Mull"?
It's not as pressing a question as how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, but it can be a bit of a sticky wicket.
When you are at the fair do you order a "Care-A-Mel" apple? When eating at a fancy restaurant and ordering dessert, do you order a Creme "Khar-Mull"? How you answer these questions could affect your service in both establishments.
Luckily and through the courtesy of Mr. Soc Goumas and Goumas Confections LLC, one lucky bidder at our Java & Jazz benefit auction will walk away from our auction with a 2-pound box of their famous turtles made with pecans, caramel (or "khar-mull") and their famous chocolate. And they won't have to decide until they have eaten the last one.
Goumas Confections LLC is located at 1287 Log Pond Dr., in Newark.

Auction Planning Underway
The letters are in the mail and, surprisingly, some have already yielded donations for Mental Health America of Licking County's 12th Annual Java & Jazz benefit auction.
Each year, we scour Licking County and beyond looking for unusual items for our Auction guests to purchase. This year, we are trying something new: as items come in, we will be listing them here so that our guests can have a sense of what to expect when March 5th comes around.
That doesn't mean that we will be putting all our cards on the table--we have to have some surprises--but we hope we can make it that much easier for you to come to the event.
This is our most important fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from this event help to support the Agency's 8 programs and fill in the gaps created by our challenging economic environment.
Mental Health America of Licking County has been honored to serve this county and its people for 57 years and , through efforts such as this, we hope to be around for many years to come.
Thank you.
