We Need More Pudding!

According to the Wickipedia, Put-In-Bay most likely got its name because, on a map, it looks like a pudding sack.

When I read that, I immediately thought of Mr. Bill Cosby and his fondness for Jell-O pudding, but, as it turns out I should have been thinking more about plum pudding.

Once all of the ingredients for a plum pudding have been assembled and mashed together, they are pressed into pans and steamed for 4-6 hours, but,  in the past, they were steamed in cloth sacks.

Taken in that light, you can almost see the resemblance between that (above) and this:

Anyway, thanks to the nice people at Miller Ferries, one lucky bidder at our Java & Jazz auction will receive 2 adult passes for a round-trip to Put-In-Bay.

There's lots to see and do, history to see and relaxation to be had.

The passes expire on November 11th, 2011.
